Things I Love: 16

Buitre Leonado

- gourmet donuts – fancy european chocolate samplers – cinnamon black tea –  Vahid’s mom’s enchiladas – decorating sugar cookies – brussels sprouts roasted with fennel – the smell of licorice – the new recipes I’ve been cooking – berry coconut eats -

- Rose-Tu (an elephant at the Portland Zoo) had a baby, Lily, and it’s ready to meet the public. I feel a zoo trip is in my near future.

Good Morning 2013

- lazy winter days – walking in the cold sunshine – afternoons in coffee shops – chai tea lattes – fires at night – bubble baths – massages – the buy one get one free sale that Lush always has after Christmas -

- This is a great idea of a really sweet DIY gift.

- I wish there was more to this article but the pictures are sweet. A free school under a bridge in India.

Untitled

- writing again – starting a gratitude journal – knowing that tomorrow is a new day – meal planning – starting the new year eating clean – exercising with kettlebells – the break from the rain – having hair long enough I can put up into a bun -

- This is an amazing  picture of Everest.

- I am always a sucker for amazing photography and this set of surreal photography is great.

Nice Girl

- seeing Django Unchained for New Years – The Hobbit – watching all the Lord of the Rings movies over Christmas – Safety Not Guaranteed – finishing a book within a few days – being able to spend copious amounts of time reading -

Now I want those gourmet donuts again. Oh well. I imagine they will be that much more rewarding a month from now.

What a great list of things! If there’s a group of children from the age of 2-16 all in a panic because of a thunderstorm, you’ll have plenty to sing to them about, too! :D
