Who I Am

My name is Sarah Joy, it’s a pleasure to meet you!

I use this space to chronicle my life, share things I love, and basically just indulge myself in my thoughts. Sometimes I write about important things, sometimes I write about nothing, and most of the time I write about things that are personal to me. I might share some poetry or fiction I write, photographs I take, and art I create. Sometimes I post with a fervor and sometimes I go months (sometimes many, many, months) without uttering a word.

I suppose I should tell you a little about me. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, cat (Mosley), and all the rain. I love to be outside on beautiful sunny days, finding adventures, reading good books, and drinking all the tea. I also enjoy a good mix drink and finding a great brunch spot. I travel all over the U.S. for work and I love that I get to see so many awesome places while calling it “work.” I fancy myself a little hippie woo woo in my health and if you ask for advice you’ll probably get a woo woo answer. I’m an advocate for acupuncture and naturopathy and use both to help with my health conditions. I have a drawer full of essential oils and I can whip you up a mean blend for anything you need.

One of my favorite ways to pass the time is lost in a good book. The library is one of my favorite places and I am constantly adding new books to my “to-read” section on goodreads. I love all things scary, ski-fi, or fantasy. Have a recommendation? Drop me a line and let me know!
